If you are the real rival of Chinese, consider some detail .

What do japaneses think about China ? 1Interdependence may
reduce China's willingness to use unilateral economic and trade measures to pres-
sure Japan
2 seek to minimize its exclusive dependence on China for critical resources,
such as rare-earth metals

3 attempt to leverage its excellence in the many managerial and
technological areas (for example, energy efficiency) where China is weak in order to
maximize Sino-Japanese economic interdependence.

4 More than half of undergraduate degrees in China are in science and engineer-
ing, compared with only a third in the United States.

5 about 60 million people in China use cosmetics:
we expect that number to rise to at least 200 million by 2015. Moreover, Chinese are
heavy users of skin-care products, a cosmetic category that is a strength of our age
recently ranked Shiseido as the leading skin-care brand in China, in part because
Chinese consumers place a high value on Japanese technology.

6 Consider tourism. About 50 million Chinese travel abroad each year; in the next
decade, that number could rise to no million. That's good news for the Asian tour-
ism industry
