Wow! With 400ft-lb of torque, that must be something. And here I am stuck with a nearly free (to me) GMC Sierra for the foreseeable future. Life is full of compromises I guess.

The Spark can haul ass, but I have to haul stuff.

Last time I looked they were stating 70 miles.
The fast charge in 20 minutes only takes it to 80% charge or 56 miles. So on any distant trip you would be charging every hour. I can't drink that much coffee. I can fill the Sierra and go to the tip of the UP without refueling.
For around town though a SparkEV would be a nice toy.

Since they are selling them out West those hills should be a good test and offset what would happen here to battery life in winter. What needs to happen is the doubling effect of advancement with battery density as happened with computers and RAM and storage.

I could drive 570,349 miles on the gas from a $109K Tesla! An economy car could easily top a million miles on gas.

109,000/3.44=31,686
31686 X 18 = 570,448.8

Hope that helps.
