I think thats exactly whats behind a lot of these so-called programs that politicians are behind. Thats why they are behind them...to pad their own pockets and to heck with the success of the program and the taxpayers that are footing the bill. Beyond disgusted.

That is why term limits are needed, salary commensurate to performance and no lifetime benefits. Pension credits the same as any one in the civilian work force.
