I have a 1994 GMC Sierra truck that has started loosing power on the highway. It started last week at the end of a long three hour highway trip and has done it a couple times since just after a couple miles on the higway. It just starts loosing power and slowely starts slowing down no matter how much gas I give it. Any ideas?
i had the same problem a few years ago when i was on vacation and i was starnded in a town for 3 days.they tried evrything and when i finally got it fixed it was the fuel pump they changed and it fixed it.they also found a pin home in the gas line right beside the tank.

Hey guys, which one is better:
Silverado Z71 or Sierra Z71
Special In long-distance endurance?

And is the size of the tires for both of them are the same?

Anyone know about a consistent issues with the GMC Sierra having instrument cluster failure? Is this a consistent issue that GMC is not recognizing so it does not have to perform a recall?

7-7-10 I have had the same problem for several years...a small, irratating slow coolant loss that I have been unable to find on my 2003 Silverado pickup with a 4.3L Vortec engine. I have had the coolant system pressure tested twice and they couldn't find it either. Well, my mechanic found it yesterday...He pulled the plug to drain my oil for it's scheduled change and out comes my coolant...then oil. He is in the process of tearing the engine down now to determine how it got there! Not feeling good about General Motors Corporation right now! Let me know if anyone else out there has/is having the same problem.
