I have a very rare 1996 Yukon GT. It has never been driven in the rain or snow and only has 57k miles. I believe these were only made from 1993-1997 ? Does anyone have any production numbers? With the 2 doors becoming harder and harder to find, I am wondering about the future classic/collector market for this vehicle.
Thanks,
Kelly

He doesn't want to sell. He's just gloting. By the way, These were a limited Production model. That's why you don't see alot of them. I however have seen 19 or 20 in all the variations but that's probably because I drive for a living!!

Love my '96 Forest Green Yukon more than you know-with a 6 inch lift kit and 35" tires it is an amazing truck , however she is now, slowly, starting to nickel and dime me. It WAS minimal things, door handle-wind sheild wiper motor-radiator-etc., but now my sweet yukon needs an engine, cracked block, and that is gonna cost me a big ole chunk of change. It is a bit frustrating since the vehicle only has 122k miles on it and I do not drive it hard at all, anyone else out there had this problem? Another issue with my sweet ride is the driver side tail light..all the the lightblubs work but their function don't, aka no turn signal, no break light, no back up light. The lights are illuminated but not fuctioning. How can the bulbs light but their purposes not? Do I need a new light or the assembly the the light plugs into? Went to partstrain.com but they only list lights, not any wiring type things. If anyone has a clue, let me know.

@ Yukon Girl I have the 93 Yukon GT in black, I'm the second owner and I got here from the dealership 10 years ago. I just dropped an LS1 out of the 2001 corvette. Just thouht I would share some of my info but about the problem your having is very common for these trucks and 90's gmc and chevys as well. Your one to have replace the circuit board for you tail lights. You can find the circut board for your truck on ebay ebay, you can find them for as cheap as $12 a pair

If you are ever interested in selling your yukon gt let me know, i am trying to find one to complete my collection. I have a rare 94 GMC seirra Gt and a 96 Tahoe ss but the yukon is one i would love. If you are ever going to sell it let me know, all of the ones i find have red interior or a tailgate instead of barn doors.
if you or anyone has the identical one to sell let me know. thanks

I have a 1994 2 door maroon it has a gm performance crate 350 in it. 4l60e trans. B&M shift kit. Jet power chips stage 2. Rear end is a 10 bolt with 4130 solid 35 spline axles, eaton positraction 4:56 gears front and rear. 33'' tires. It's has 145,000 miles witch really isn't that bad for a 94'' I love this truck. So reliable 4x4 works amazing in those nasty areas. We should all be proud of what we drive everybody in this forum has a bad ass truck. Go 2 doors!

I got a 96 yukon gt black, with the floor shift 4x4 and vortec (rare combo). Only has 96k miles and is in nearly excellent condition. Has a little rust on the frame that I am planning on stopping with rustoleum. The exterior and interior are 8-9 out of 10. I will keep it for awhile seeing as how rare they are. I haven't seen any around here. I got a steal on it too. Picked it up for 5k.

well hate to burst your bubbles but these trucks are everywhere lol i have a 2 door silver 94.. with a TAILGATE.. (barn doors suck)theres nothing rare about a black 96 with a vortec.. (considering in 96 they all had the vortec) however if you want a rare one get ahold of a 5.7 or even a 6.5 with a stick.. btw the 6.5 is junk and sounds like a choking dog. Silver black and even blue are the hardest colors to find. Also the 4l60e is a softy and will inevitably blow up (as did mine) but built these are great trannys. these trucks are great but lack in certain areas.. IFS sucks and lifting these trucks is overly costly due to the front end and torsion set up... SAS is the way to go and even cheaper to do with a lift then getting a kit for the stock IFS and much stronger (IFS does provide a much smoother ride). And they should have made these with removable tops like the K5... but there are kits for that conversion. anyways with all that said im sure theres ganna be some haters on here so... feel free to fire at my post but you know im right 8)..
