i have a strange electrical problem in my 2000 S15, 4wd V6 4.3 . If I put my foot on brake peddal with engine off, I will get the "beep beep" alarm for leaving your lights on. With the engine running in daytime, when I touch the brake the dash lights dim to the brillance that they would be at night time and sometimes the right signal light will not flash, just stays lit but left turn signal ok. All these symptons don't showup all the time . Any one see this before??

you must have a lot of crossed wires...i suggest a new wiring harness...maybe from a scrap yard

Sounds like you have problem with crossed taillight wires or a shorted trailer plug or light socket
