front wheel bearings torque specs.

help.please.i've been online 2 hours trying to find a torque spec for a front wheel bearing.2002 gmc sierra,4x4.my haynes book has 2 numbers in different sections.133 and 177 ft.lbs.the other # i found was 155 ft.lbs. for a silverado on the skf site.just want to get the job finished.thanks

the number im looking for,is for the 35mm nut that holds the bearing assemby to the driveaxle.

i had a hard time finding it also but i did end up finding it. Its suppose to be 133 ft/lbs. Then there is a piece that bolts on to the bearing,(you probly had to use an extention to get to them)8 bolts. The torque on them is 140ft/lbs. and i was told that the large nut, i think its about 35 mm should be just snug. The lug nuts should be 140ft/lbs also.
