I understand why the strike has occured however please think of US $ 12.00 an hour people who have lived on this income for years and supply GM with
their cosmetic goods to complete a vehical that not even we can afford. Do what you have to do... and feel confortable in the fact that others are suffering more then you....

Seniority should count for something. Job placement is done accordingly, this always has worked fine in the past. Non core jobs off the assembly line have long been considered the best jobs, but those are going to be handed over to new hires. Just another way to force higher seniority employees out the door.
