Who ever writes these articles needs to get their terminology correct. It not a brake hose. Its a vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster. It pops off and you loose power assist for the brakes. You'll still be able to stop, but the pedal will be hard as a rock. The engine will probably stall out at idle from a huge vacuum leak. Don't worry GM and any other major vehicle manufacture has had their share of recalls. Its just some of them are not newsworthy.

Not even close...Honda or Toyota. |

This story is nowhere as big as Toyota buying back 813,000 Tacoma's due to frame rot. This is going to cost Toyota over 100 million.
Not even to mention the long list of Toyota and Lexus recalls in 08.. |

Toyota has built a lot of nice cars and trucks, but has also produced a bumper crop of lemons also.
SS reported some of these as well. |

Sun-Sentinel also reported some of these recalls/problems. |

I likes Toyota best. Ford does have some problems.

If they are looking for these trucks they are sitting in the owners drivways, no body can afford to drive them.

What about the recall for the cruise control that was issued over 6 months ago? I'm still waiting to be called to fix!!! Last time I called the dealership, the parts were still not available.

I used to work for a GM dealership, recieveing cars from the factory. We could find some problem with virtually every car delivered that had to be fixed before it was sold.
