Actually, your truck weighs 300 pounds more. Curious about your "drag race" too. Your truck is designed to use the torque off the line, its a truck after all. The Accord is designed for fuel economy off the line. Was this a street race or on a strip? Heck, did the Accord even know it was racing ya? We need more details. Are you sure it was the v6 on the Accord as well?<quoted text>
I blew the doors off a brand new honda accord with my 1995 Dodge Dakota 4x4 5.2L 318.
Lets look more closely.
Accord: 268-hp, 3.5-Liter, 24-Valve, SOHC i-VTEC® V-6 Engine with VCM®
Dakota 230-hp, 300tq, 5.2l
I guess the Accord should have won since it weighs half of my 4x4 truck and has 38 more hp.
Maybe you can tell me why I beat it by a whole car length from the line?

The truck has to be new or significantly redesigned to be considered. From there, its not just power that is taken into consideration. Drivability, handling, fuel economy, a slew of other things are taken into account. There is a lot that is taken into consideration. |
Yeah its not possible to buy everything that American but the more money that stays in this country the better it is for our country. Simple economics. I'm proud to be American and would rather pay people in my coutry than china or some other coutry. Is pretty simple people like you that don't care is why Canada's dollar is worth more than ours. |

Motor trend??? The 2007 camry was motor trend car of the year because of it past, but now even consumer reports bumped the v6 camry from the consumer reports list for 08 because of the DANGEROUS hesitation(transmission) problem with the 07 08 camry.
The 4cly and the 6cly have a dangerous hesitation problem!! and toyota will not do anything about it untill someone gets hurt or dies. Toyota moving forward?????????? |
