Was it one of those internet deals where you can become one in 12 months?
Your bright and overwhelming ability to observe principles of valid inference and demonstration are a proof that you will forever be stock with your F-body Camaro and believe it's Heavens gift to the masses.
Your failed attempt at a thesis couple with a complete lack of facts is sad commentary in that a mind on South Park is a terrible thing to waste.

Anywya, here ya go folks. Who did better in the US in June? Robbie's ignorance and embarssment stems from his South Park education about GM and Toyota.

Check the sales figures next time,

I rest my case, FACTS always trump ignorant biases.

Maybe you should spend doing something other than watching South Park in your Toyota Shrine to avoid future embarassment.

In order to rest a case you would need to have one. Now back to your imaginary World where you know everything and GM has quality cars.
One more silly question,if Toyota sucks so much then why even Pontiac is producing one of the cars with only GM grill (based on Toyota Matrix) and not vice versa ?? Or is that ahead of us ?

Robbie, the fact is you think GM sucks. You came on a GM board to bash GM and praise Toyota. You claim GM's 'woes' are because they make crap and are out of touch with the market.

The article clearly points out the truth that while GM sank 18%, Toyota sank 22%. How do you reconcile that in your world?

Tell us. We who don't have a stupid bias against GM, realize that it is because the economy is struggling. It isn't just gas, it is tight credit markets, rising commodities, and increasing unemployment. Unfortunately, trolls like yourself come along and blame the worlds problem on GM.

So please tell us why Toyota's sell fell faster than GM's in June. Maybe there is a South Park episode to help you understand this great conspiracy.

Now everybody read up on the Vibe. Robbie thinks Pontiac is simply selling a Toyota, when it fact it is a joint venture produced in the US, not Japan.

Joint ventures have been around forever. In recent years, Ford built Mazda a version of its Ranger... not the other way around. And because of it's controlling interest in Mazda, many Fords share the basic Mazda 6 platform, like the Fusion. It's good business and results in lower costs overall. Badge engineering is not new... you think there is actually a difference between a Camry LE and a Lexus ES? Well, besides about $12,000 and a few extra buttons? Think again. Of course, if you buy the Lexus you get to tell your friends how special you are.

It sucks, if you want to make an attempt at some old car muscle why didn't you stick to the old style ie: 68 body style and simple type motor/ trans / electrical system. What you builders don't realize it the consumer want's to be able to tweak the car with a few tools from Sears. Hello

Hate to mention this... there is NOTHING you can do with a few tools from Sears except maybe install a chip and an intake. But by contrast, the SS 396 Chevelle from 1969 will be about equaled in a 1/4 mile by a new Malibu LTZ right out of the showroom. And the Malibu has a ton of safety features, gets 3x the mileage (or more), corners and stops, and so on.

If you could, what would you do and why would you do it? No reason to not have fuel injection. Ditto overhead cams and electronic ignitions with the coil right on each plug. How about 4 valves per cylinder? Why would you not want that? VVT? It's all there for a reason. It contributes to performance AND mileage though there is some middle of the road compromise for daily driving.

The Camaro was solely made in the U.S..
Now the car is made in Canada.
Nascar, IROC, and America made the Camaro legendary.
I don't think anyone would want a Camaro that is made in another country other than America!
The Automotive Products Trade Agreement, commonly known as the Auto Pact or APTA, was an important trade agreement between Canada and the United States. It was signed by Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson and President Lyndon B. Johnson in January 1965.[1]

It removed tariffs on cars, trucks, buses, tires, and automotive parts between the two countries, greatly benefiting the large American car makers. In exchange the big three car makers (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler) agreed that automobile production in Canada would not fall below 1964 levels and that for every five new cars sold in Canada, three new ones would be made there.

Before the Auto Pact the North American automobile industry was highly segregated. Because of tariffs, only three percent of vehicles sold in Canada were made in the United States, but most of the parts were manufactured in the U.S. and overall Canada was in a large trade deficit with the States in the automobile sector.

The Pact saw vast and immediate changes. Canada began to produce far fewer different models of cars. Instead, much larger branch plants producing only one model for all of North America were constructed. In 1964, only seven percent of vehicles made in Canada were sent south of the border, but by 1968, this was sixty percent. By the same date, forty percent of cars purchased in Canada were now made in the United States. Overall the agreement was of great benefit to Canadian workers and consumers. The more efficient market lowered prices and the increased production created thousands of jobs and wages as the auto industry rose. Automobile and parts production quickly surpassed pulp and paper to become Canada's most important industry. The trade deficit has turned into a trade surplus worth billions of dollars annually to Canada.

At the same time there are important disadvantages to this arrangement. It left the Canadian automobile industry firmly in the hands of American corporations. Unlike, for instance, France with Citroën and Renault, Canada has no domestic car makers, despite a long history of Canadian car companies. The agreement also led to the creation of almost exclusively blue collar jobs. Administration and research and development remained in the United States. The agreement also prevents Canada from pursuing free trade in automobiles with other nations, such as Japan. The growth has also been very regionally skewed, with southern Ontario overwhelmingly being the main centre of production.

The Auto Pact was abolished in 2001 after a World Trade Organization ruling declared it illegal, though by that time the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other agreements had made it largely irrelevant.

Very Disappointing character lines and overall design. It sucks - in order to compete in this global market, General Motors must understand, they must be "better than the best."
