I took my truck in for recall. The repair was done in less than an hour.Didn't cost me any money.I have driven the truck for ninety three thousand miles with nothing more than oil changes.

I am satisfied that the contractor who built the parts for Ford is totally responsible for the defective part.

The next time your non Ford vehicle breaks down beside the road in rush hour traffic and I stop to help you, just tell me to go ahead, you don't ride in Fords.

Even if my Ford blows all but 2 plugs, I would still rather drive that than a Chevrolet! Cracked Head Every Valve Rattles Oil Leaks Engine Ticks.

I already own a Toyota. 90 Toyota pickup. I had a Tundra (05) and I loved it. Just drive a lot of miles and needed better MPG (it got 18). So I traded it for another Toyota car that gets 27 MPG. My little pickup does everything I need it to do.

Not true....my dad took very good care of his F-250 and it burnt down to the ground because of the cruise control switch. That's ok though....he took the money and bought a Toyota.
Then your dad is crazy. I have had a Toyota, a Chevy, and 3 Fords. One of my Fords was on that recall list for the cruise control switch. I had it checked out and everything. I won't drive anything but a Ford. And for all the Ford Fans, FORD stands for First on Race Day!!!

You said that right! Just don't stop. These people just want to sit on the side of the road wishing they had a Ford anyway.

I must say, I have a 2003 Chevy Impalla, and have had nothing but trouble with it. The computer had to be replaced, wasn't covered by warrenty, the steering column rattles when you hit a pothole.(there is a service alert but chevy is doing nothing to fix it) The rotors have been replaced once and are ready to be replaced again because of poor design. These same problems are discussed by hundreds of people on blogs and other forums out there who own chevy's.
American cars stink. Period.
I own a volkswagon Jetta also, it is a 1997 and has 178000 miles on it. I have replaced nothing except the exhaust and battery and still runs like its new. I drive it very hard and it still holds up fine.
The point is American car companys better get their act together before they all get run out of business.
I have to agree with you on that. I have a 2004 Malibu and it has had to have the computer replaced, the rotors, and the front wheel bearings. I only have 70,000+ miles on it. I had a 98 Honda Civic before this car. It had 100, 000+ miles on it and only had to have a brake job. We got the Malibu because the civic became too small with two kids. I love America but their cars aren't too quality.

My dad has been a die hard Ford guy his whole life. As a kid you tend to follow what dear ole dad does. But since I have a mind of my own, I learned my lesson. FORD IS PURE JUNK. I have a numerous Fords over the years, mainly because they were easy to get for little money. Good thing because a lot of money and time went into keeping them going. Their parts don't last, mostly due to very poorly designed engines. With this noted as well as all the specialty tools they try to get you to buy, it
s not hard to see that they conspire against us to make money, and could care less about quality. It's like the devil saying he's a nice guy.

I've rebuilt EVERY transmission in all my Fords due to breakdowns. You can talk all you want about good maintenance, but keeping a shithouse clean still results in having a shithouse.

My dad hates the fact that while he's always fixing his 79 F150, I'm driving my reliable cars.

Stick with cars like Dodge Spirit, sundance, Hyundai's, Nissans, Mazda Protege, and any car that's PROVEN reliable and stay away from crappy Ford vehicles. Their days are numbered you know.

I'll give credit to the foreign car makers for making reliable cars but when you need a truck the only way to go is American, and more specifically FORD.

The chances of one catching fire is like getting struck by lightning...Consider how many vehicles there are on the road and only a dozen have had a fire problem..And as for the buy a Toyota, why don't u move there and live in thier world...And when our economy starts the recession,we can blame all u rice rocket buyers..And fr as being made well,8 out of 10 buyers completely neglect there vehicles..Don't get oil changed, tires rotated and various other filters changed..Just push the pedal on the right to go and the one in the center to stop, thats all u need to do...Lets blame the company name because of that...LOSERS....
