I continue to smell oil as if I had just gotten an oil change and the technician spilled some on the engine block. However, this smell is off and on...and especially noticeable after driving the car for some distance. Any feedback? Thanks.

I had the same strange "gas/oily" like smell entering inside the passenger compartment through the air vents. Took the car to the dealership 6 times and countless inspections to try and resolve the problem. The Ford dealer and Ford Motor Corp deny any issues with the vehicle and tell us this is perfectly normal. Meanwhile we continue to drive with the windows rolled down and breathing in potentially harmful toxic smells. What good is a warranty if you can't find the source of a problem nor repair the problem. What a horrific experience!

There is and issue with the turbo oil return line O ring leaking. I suggest you crawl under the car and inspect it yourself, that's what i did. They are fixing it Monday, half shaft seal too!

my 2010 sho has same oil smell inside the car, especially after agressive driving. Going to dealer monday - hope they fix it.

curious how this worked out for you? I have read horror stories about the sho turbos blowing their seals and sucking all the engine oil through the engine and burning it of(white smoke coming from the tailpipes) thus resulting in a blown engine! customers have had their entire engines replaced under warranty! what was the problem in your case?

I recently bought a 2010 ford taurus sho which had the entire motor replaced in 2012. I have had the car for a little over a month and it has been at the shop more than ive even driven it because of the horrific oil/gas smell. Turbos have already been replaced. I'm about ready to just say fuck it and get a new car! I can't have kids in a car that constantly smells like oil! I love my sho but idk what to do if i don't get an answer
