Do not buy a 6.0 powerstroke no matter what the price is.
And I would wait two years before buying the new 6.4
They can not figure out the 6.0 yet, why would they introduce a new problem before solving the old ones? Who Knows
And I've been a ford mann all my life

2006 F250 CrewCab Lariat Powerstroke. $48000 sticker. $1850 ext warranty. 16,500 miles on it and it broke down on me 3 times within 500 miles. Spent over $300 for repairs first time they said was my fault. Then they put it in shop for 4 days to replace the injectors which they covered under warranty. The rental and motel costs nearly $400 at my cost. Warranty is terrible. Customer Service is terrible (3 different dealers). Lifelong loyal Ford customer and I just traded it in at a big loss for a Chevy. The Powerstroke has multiple fuel system problems that aren't being addressed. Too many warranty problems that engine manufacturer (International) won't even honor them. Can't believe my loyalty was so misguided.

I have a 2003 6.0 F350(Oh my god the worst of the worst)I THINK NOT... 75000 miles and running strong. Edge Ford Juice Platinum with Hot code(awesome firm trans shifting) and Banks intake elbow and inter cooler system with an 8 in lift with 37's wouldn't this make it worst! 7.3 is great but 6.0 has a lot more power. After 75000 mile I still have stock injectors a big problem for 03. Maybe im just lucky. The bottom line is if to maintain your truck milk the warranty your truck will be fine. I sill have a year left on my warranty and will use it. As for dealership loyaly....stay away from big dealerships they see my truck and what i have done to it the tell me to go pound sand. Go to small Ford dealerships they are great any will take care of you. I have a 73 F250 and a 03 F350 both run strong!

Help! Anybody have actual experience on towing capacity for a 1991 F250 4.9L I6, 4WD, 5 manual, stock w/o any tow package. I get a lot of numbers from 2300 lb to 8500 lb, but nothing authoritive. Ford dealer was no help at all.

Yes, we have an 87' f250 4.9L, 4WD, 4 speed however... Towing is amazing and as such have been looking to buy another one but almost impossible to find. Gas millage is unbelievable. We use it primarily as a farm truck... pulling grain carts out of muddy fields is no problem, we've pushed this truck to its limits and still runs excellent. Highly recommended.

Ford Corporate finally gave me a figure of 10000 lbs combined (truck, load, & trailer). With cap and me, my 250weighs 5000. So the trailer wt max is 5000.

Just purchased 2008 f250 lariat with just about every option avail. The $54,000 price tag kept me up the first night, but this truck is worth it! Had a 06 6.0L, and there is no comparison in the feeling of immediate turbo power!

I just traded an 06 f250 6.0L in for an 08. I put on 65,000 pulling a 20' trailer almost daily w/o 1 problem ever.

2007 F-250 Supercrew with 12,000 miles. Took my new 24' Toy Hauler out for the first time. The distance of about 40 miles. A guy driving a JApanese car waves me down telling me I'm leaking all over. I get to my destination to find the overflow empty. Just before I got there, the truck was winding high, some say it was the turbo. No lights, bells or whistles went off. The dealership just phoned me saying they haven't figured it out yet, but they are betting its a bad head or head gasket. Wow! Not bad for a first tow. It makes me sick. NOw, i get to pay for a rental car on top of paying my monthly payment. I'll keep you updated on the actual cause.

04 f250 over 100,000 miles and runs like a champ. Just keep an eye on your fluid levels and treat it better than your old ladys tit and its the last truck youll ever have to buy. Mine is lifted and rolling on 37's, banks exhaust, juiced, airaid intake, intercooler, banks high ram. No problems at all. Love it...
