I have a 2004 freestar, 4.2 engine. Within 5 seconds of starting the van, both cooling fans turn on and will not turn off. If anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it,please reply. Thanks

My freestar does the same thing. I thought it was normal since it has always done so. Others say it should not run constantly. Please advise.

A/C high pressure sensor located at bottom of the radiator is corroded. Take the connector off, clean it and fans will run as they are supposed to.
