Pumping up operating costs

The villain, once again, is the price of gasoline. Thanks in large part to the liquid gold, the cost to own and operate a 2008 model car will run from $5,510 to $9,095 a year the next five years at 10,000 miles ...

Last October I decided to buy a Prius. Best move I've ever made. I fill up every 475 miles. Cost me $29.00 to fill up. And the car is solid. I'm over 6 feet tall. Leg room in the front and back seats. I'll stick with Toyota until there is an electric car that can be charged with solar panels.
I'm waiting to see if our spineless politicians will send these oil slobs to prison. For price manipulation. The oil companies are the one manipulating the oil futures. Not the average trader.

Wow, a PRIUS, won't last you very long now will it? It's probably no good for more than 5 years at that. LOL, I love you morons who sit in your hybrids thinking you are going to save a tree! There is more pollution in a Prius car battery come disposal time. You can get a car such as a Ford Focus, Pontiac G5 or even a Chrysler Sebring that get GREAT gas mileage and cost less money to repair than the PRIUS. I have a Stealth, Mustang GT and a Camaro Z28 but I can tell you this...have fun in that shopping cart with doors that you call a car.

"Due to high gasoline prices, it costs more to operate an automobile..."

Really?!? No kidding!!! I suppose now you're going to tell me that the Pope is Catholic... Oh, he is?! Imagine that!

If we were going to invade a country for oil, we should've stayed closer to home and occupied Mexico. Hell, half their population is out of the country, anyway...because they're HERE!!

Sorry, my sarcasm is set to "high" this evening.

Remember folks, inflation is only 0.2% because the federal reserve says so. Exclude the price of anything that goes up such as food, energy and housing, and what do you know, no inflation!

and then we have Mercedes and BMW pushing cars with over 400+ horsepower, that's responsible on their part.

And, speaking of responsibility, here we have Jim Mateja, selling all of you week after week after irresponsible week, on the idea that it's STILL cool to put muscle under your hood.

We are a country that is addicted to oil to the tune of 28.5 million barrels a day, our dollar is headed toward worthless because we are giving all of our money to OPEC. The gasoline refiners are wallowing in money just like like Scrooge McDuck is pictured in the comic book, sitting on his mountain of money while many Americans are going under because they cant pay both the cost of their mortage and the cost of their oil habit. 25MPG won't cut the mustard now!

And Jim Mateja is waving a little black bag in front of you saying, "here, try this and I guarantee you when you push the pedal to the metal, YOU WILL FEEL LIKE A REAL MAN"!!!

I ask you, which is more irresponsible? Both, equally?
