I think it will replace the ranger. I think a ranchero is a better idea. put in the turbo v6, or cut the new ford 4.4 litre diesel block in half to make a 2.2 litre 4 cylinder, and put that in. Put in a 6 speed transmission.

For some reason, the idea of putting a 6 speed tranmission in cars is just too much for Domestics? Yet alone their rivals are up-coming up with 7-8 speed tranmissions?

Which pickup truck "rival" has an 8-speed transmission? So you know, that lexus doesnt compete with trucks. Volkswagens 7-speed will also carry a hefty price premium. Compare apples to apples next time. There are plenty of 6 speed trannies as far as GM goes.

yesh, now GM has started to put 6 speeds, but before they kept using the old 4-speed, which isn't competitive enough with rivals.

Coulda whoulda shoulda – hindsight is 20/20 and the fact is today.

GM has developed an 8 speed specifically to launch against the Lexus brand. What does it go in? I would imagine the Cadddy and Buick lines. GM filed for trademark (8speed) back in August.

"before" being the key word here.

GM will have to invest more in its car line. Trucks aren't selling. And GM has said it will invest more in its cars.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Aries

How you feel about your values and how your associates feel may not mesh too well today; avoid conversations about morals and scruples. Of course, you could be a politician or a religious worker, in which case you may be tiring of your own rhetoric. It's hard to be good all the time, especially when everyone else seems to be having a jolly time being bad.
