I have had my 2008 F250 Crew Cab 4X4 since May 07. It now has 76K on it. I have NEVER been able to get better than 14.5 MPG and when pulling a 28ft travel trailer I am lucky to get 10MPG. I have replaced the radiator, the high pressure pump ( had to remove the entire cab for this..) and now the exhaust. I am also having electrical problems. I had the 2006 F250 Crew 4X4 prior to this and had similar problems. I was hoping that the new motor in 08 would be better. I will NEVER buy a FORD truck again. Poor milage, mechanical problems and too expensive. Looking for a 2010 Dodge now. Pricey I know, but overall economy and durability mean a lot. Hopefully, I have seen my last Ford service center.....

I have an 08 f350 powerstroke and it is a piece of s--t. 35000 miles, been in the shop 5 or 6 times and can't find what's wrong. I'm tired of being stranded and hours or days later it runs fine. F--K A FORD!!! This is my last one.

I bought my F-250 1 year ago today.(1/30/09) Well over 100 mph on different trips, lots of power, 13-18 mpg all the time, Best 22 on trip to Canada, even pulling my 28 ft. camper. Only problem I had was exhaust cleaning stuck one sunday afternoon. I took to dealer on Monday, he reset and fine ever sence. Love my truck, 10th 250, first diesel. Hope my luck continues.

traided in my 00 cummins for a damm frontier for parking reasons 55,000 miles a front diff and a rear diff later , now the rear diff is on its way out and the dealer say they dont hear any noise.. B/S any man who knows his truck knows when its making a noise .. not really worried about the truck lasting over 100, have traided it in by that point but i am concerned with MPG and all the damm recalls , and flames shooting out the exhaust , i mean whos else truck shoots flames but !!? right ? but did ford fix this problem ??

Anyone that has ideas whats wrong? Just did a 2100 mile trip with the 2008 F350 super duty. Pulled a 20 foot enclosed trailer @ 70mph. The whole trip was 7.6mpg loaded and 8.3 empty. Something has to be wrong. Fueling every 200 miles. Runs good, no error messages. Thanks for any ideas.
