I'm looking to purchase a 2013 in the next couple of months. Through my employer, I'm able to take advantage of Ford's X Plan pricing.
Does anyone have experience using this X plan and is there "room" to negotiate further discounting or do most dealers consider X Plan the discount and that's it.
I'd be curious to know what the average discount % off the base price for a new Explorer is.

I just purchased a 2013 Explorer using X plan. There is no negotiating the price of the vehicle, you give them tge PIN, they print out the invoice and it itemizes the X plan along with the invoice. I would make sure you know all the rebates that are offered, because you can use those. If you lookup Ford X Plan, there is an instruction that lays out all the details. It ended up being about 2500 off MSRP before rebates.
