They should of kept Mercury & got rid of Ford. Mercury had the coolest of two-tone colors of the 1950's....cherry-black......ye llow-black...really
something back then. Then when the introduced the Cougar in the 60's.
Ah...sweet memories of youth.

the other 2 of the big 3 are no better, interchangeable junk

At one time there was quite a differance. A 49 sled merc. or a 49 flathead ford were night and day. Then they all started to look alike. Chrysler, GM, and ford should have dropped these matching lines long ago. Now to copy amerrican cars toyota has avalon, etc.
