These idiot auto publications complain about the appearance of the Sebring but rave about Toyota's Aztec, the Prius. Put a Sebring up against that ugly Piece of Crap and it should be considered "Drop Dead Gorgeous". While we are at it, isn't it odd that J.D. Powers gives Chrysler and all other Manufacturers far different ratings than Commie Consumer Reports? Consumer Reports are nothing more than "Predictors", always have been and have bitten on the butt more times than I can remember for it. Remember giving Toyota a free pass, poor testing practices e.g., Baby Seats? Paid off COMMIES!

Then how do you explain that Sebrings literally can't be given away and Toyota sells every Prius they can make. Granted, Prius' aren't all that sleek looking, so apparently those buyers aren't looking at styling.
And other than the baby seat episode, when has Consumer Reports been bitten on the butt? I certainly wouldn't bet the rent on anything JD Powers puts out. You DO know that Powers' info is compiled only for the purposes of selling it to the companies involved.

"Awkward styling
Unimpressive performance
Chintzy interior materials
Lack of refinement (four-cylinder)"....from the attached article.

LOL! Why wait till next spring? Chrysler might be out of business by then.

Here's a review about that excellent Toyota quality from a 2007 Car and Driver article.

"No question, mainstream sells, and compared with the Camry, hotcakes sell like square tires. But in seeking the widest possible audience, this new blunt-nose Camry loses ours. Its steering wheel passed through our hands without leaving an impression. Its handling — rolling, floppy, understeer always ready to douse any rising red mist — elicits no emotion other than jejune boredom. It is A to B boiled down to ones and zeros.

Toyota sedans have never throbbed with driving passion, but at least they could boast of unimpeachable quality. This Camry was impeachable. A few trim pieces hung loose. Some dash panels didn't match up. The rear-seat armrest cup holder fell out with only the slightest persuasion, leaving behind a ragged hole in the fabric. If fit and finish ceases to be Toyota's obsession, what will define the company's products? We shudder to imagine"

Here's part of an article about the good points of the Dodge from a 2008 car and driver comparison test of 7 midsize cars.

"Which isn’t to say the car came up snake-eyes. The front-passenger seat folds flat, and the cushions are firm, with seatbacks that are supportive in the right places. The gauges feature easy-to-read black numerals on white faces. The steering proved agreeably accurate, with appropriate heft. You can store chilled drinks in the beverage bin. The chassis remained composed when called on to hustle. And our 22,000-mile test car was not only the least expensive in this group—by a wide margin—but also more rattle-free than the Camry."

The Dodge had tied for best fuel economy, was the most affordable, and idled just as loud as the Honda. But the Toyota was the only car that was falling apart just like the 2007 comparison.

Well, I guess we'll see a huge run on 2008 Dodges, won't we? Matter of fact, I'mm gonna rush out and buy one now. Think the dealer will still have some in stock?

What I don't understand is JD Powers ranked the Sebring sedan #1 in customer ranked quality (tied with the Nissan Altima) but Consumer Reports ranked it dead last. Why the wide margin of difference?

Bad Taste and this country is full of people who care only for themselves. I make certain I do not do business with those traitorous lowlife's. They either invest in America or they don't do business with us, period!

If Chrysler would have came out from the start with no door edge guards on the side and 6 less lines on the hood of the Sebring it would have sold a lot better.

And the Avenger needs to get that piece of plastic and extra sheetmetal torched out of the top of the rear door and glass put in there it would be a much better looking car.

So no one should do business with Chrysler because it is controlled by Italy which is devesting in America and investing in Mexico? Oh and I almost forgot.

No mostly the hood. That's why it's different for 2010.

Is this coming from a UAW member? Look how many times in the last 2 or 3 years has Ronnie let the flock to slaughter.

Don't remember, too long ago. Don't need a new car, my Maxima only has 210K on it.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
