What does this ASR button do, Should it be left on? Does it effect fuel economy?

ASR is your traction control. In some circumstances [stuck in deep smow, or mud] you may want to turn it off to allow the wheels to spin. Generally it should be left on. Regardless, if you turn it off, you will notice that it autmatically re-engages at a certain speed [somewhere around 30mph I believe].
