First year Ford didn't use their money to bribe Motor Trend Magazine,..(like they got caught doing in the late 70's)....instead,.. they used it to brag about how they didn't take Government Money...

About time the underdog got noticed..it doesn't have't to be about the outside of the truck's looks as much as all the things that were done to the truck in total.....Read the Motor Trend Magazine......

On the other hand.....if you say Motor Trend accepts bribes for their TOTY award, faint praise indeed for Dodge, no?

How? Dodge Ram's have horrible reliability ratings. as for all of chrystler vehicles. I would say Ford Deserves it again this year since there Trucks have been great for awhile now and only getting better.

Not really, especially on trucks. I've had both Rams and F150's over the years, have a Ram now. I had plenty of trouble with one of my Fords, not with the second one.

The '03-06 powerstroke Diesel had horrible reliability problems. Have you even looked at the Ram's reliability ratings? They're better than anything else coming out of that factory.

I have three Dodge Trucks and one Ford. The Dodges are work horses for sure. The Ford needs to be kicked to the curb. It was given to me. Now I know why. What a joke of a truck. IF you want a "REAL" truck to "WORK" with. But a Ddge. IF you just want to pretend you are working buy a Ford. Previously I had two Ford Econoline Vans. Again. Pure junk. One had to have two new transmissions before 80k miles, and the other one had to have one before 50k.

For those of you who think a Ford truck is all that and a bag of chips, you are truly in the dark. Go ahead and buy a Ford. But rest assured, of you want to use it for any kind of heavy duty use, you will be disappointed. I know, I own both Dodge and Ford.

I think you misunderstood my comments. I don't need anything but a Dodge. Would not buy anything but a Dodge. IF you want to find out what a truck really is made of, load it down with tools, use it every day in either blistering hot or freezing cold weather, in the mud, for at least 10 years, and you will see that a Dodge is the real thing baby. Ford, Chevy, Nissan...and especially Toyota, are just a bunch of posers.

I know, I own 3 Dodges and they are built like tanks.

G17....ole vancy doesn't read anybody's comments, he just spouts off his same drooling nonsense, without directing it towards anything in particular. I know of a couple Ram Cummins owners who wouldn't have anything else.
