Has anyone replaced their condenser fan motor without disconnecting the freon lines?
I noticed two bolts on the top of the shroud/condenser, are they the only two? How and where do you cut the shroud to facilitate the shroud removal with disconnecting the freon lines?

Thanks

Yes. Cut the new shroud where the line go threw. I've done it and it is a tight fit, but it works.

Thanks! Ive just finished replacing my 02 Dodge Ram 1500 condenser fan just as you described. Your right, it was a tight fit and had to be careful not to bend the condenser fins.
