I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid that died at the end of an exit ramp yesterday. I had the car towed home. Later that night I started it and it started fine and ran for about 5 minutes before dying out again. It would not turn over again. Later I went and tried it yet again, it started, I revved the engine a bit and heard a grinding noise from the driver side of the engine I turned it off and have not done anything with it since then. Any help is much appreciated...no matter how bad the news is...I did check all fluid levels, all looks good however I went to back it up a bit this morning and there is a puddle under basically where the radiator is, would a bad radiator cause any of these symptoms? I looked the transmission fluid is good, oil is good, power steering is good, brake fluid is good, coolant is good, I am just really confused at this point. I thought initially it was an alternator. Also when I started it all was fine when i went to back it up it hesitated, I heard the grinding, it almost stalled out I turned it off immediately. Please any help is much appreciated.

to me that sounds as if your fuel injectors are out of perimeter after time the injectors wear down and the fuel mixture is to much gas in the cylinder as if to flood itself out or it could be an ignition module that when it gets hot the coils will loose spark to the spark plug if it is not the ignition module could be the crankshaft positioning sensor that sends he spark to the ignition coil. as for the grinding might be a tensioner pulley or a water pump problem if their was liquid under the car.
