I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what could cause my headlight to dim when I press some buttons in my new/used 2006 Caravan. Here's what happens. I have the van running and and press the window to bring it up but, it's already up. The reason I was trying to put the windows up was I noticed the lights going dim as the van was running by itself. Every once in awhile I would see the headlights go dim for a second and then back to normal. So, that's why I was trying the window buttons to see if it did the same kind on voltage drop. So, any ideas of what part might be causing this.

Thanks in advance

I would say your dimming lights are just a result of voltage drop. That happens whenever you use the power locks or windows in a vehicle (I've done it many times). What would be of greater concern - to me - is if the system while running didn't adjust rather quickly. The alternator should balance the circuit.

What I was wondering is how many folks have their lights go out when slowing down... say to stop at a light or sign. My 2005 Dodge Caravan lights don't just dim but go all the way out for a second. I'm concerned if it will get worse. Dealer can't duplicate, although I'm not sure how they will if they keep checking during the middle of a sunny day...

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Gemini

You are in a dissatisfied mood, and are just spoiling for a fight today. However, be warned that this could backfire on you unpleasantly, especially if you take on superiors at work. At home, everyone is used to your behaviour and they generally make allowances for you, as they will today.
