I have 3 Dodge 2005 Caravan keyless remotes. One was dropped in water and ruined. However, I came across a used keyless remote and switched out the electronic guts. When I try and program the key (per the instructions in the owners manual as I have 2 keys that work) it does not program and the key cannot be used. Anyone know what to do?

I bought a used 3 btn keyless entry for my 07 caravan. I am unable to reprogram it after changing out the guts from the used one to my no longer working key. can anyone help?
