Good luck with this.. mine just stopped and the Dodge service said it was not the fuse..said to get a new radio! I haven't yet though..it's been out about a year. let me know if that solves your problem.

I have a 2002 Caravan. I was trying to remove the radio to put in another one. When I was trying to remove one of the plugs in the back, the interior light shut off. Now the interior light will only work when you turn it on manually. When I start the car, the guages all move forward, and then back again. the radio is no longer working at all.
one thing u should probably check is in the plug u were trying to get out make sure all the wires are still firmly in play in the plug and not loose if its loose it can cause a short in one of the wires aand if the auto light runs threw that cercut then the computer will not read to turn the lights on or off

It seems that Dodge makes crap radios and i to was told that there was nothing wrong with the radio after getting a new computer and 2 weeks later the rodio is dead.Cant trust dodge as every time i go in it costs big $$$$ and for a 2002 caravan i could have had a BMW for the $$$ paid to fix it.

I think the best solution is a new radio. Maybe try some of the other solutions in previous posts, but surprisingly enough no one seems to have a definitive cause/solution.

2007 dodge caravan - sounds like an echo in here !!!
Radio died 2 months ago and even dealer could not tell me where the fuse was. WTF !!! Told me I probally needed a new radio. I have had vehicles from new to extremely old and never needed a new radio. Hell the 79 chrysler I have still has the original radio and works fine. What a bunch of CRAP. I did not try to disconnect the positive battery yet and will try tomorrow.
Sounds like a class action law suit to me. Only way to force them to do anything. Anyone have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

There is a TSB out about 01 radios. Moisture condenses above the radio and drips down causing the radio to fry. You could try having a dealership do it and refer to the TSB but you've got a better shot at winning the lotto. You can replace the radio with an aftermarket one. If you have the premium radio system, the aftermarket wiring harnesses will not have the proper set up to power the amps that are on each speaker. The amps are controlled via the NBS Relay (Name Brand Speaker)and it is controlled by a negative feed from the van's computer. Unless you are an electrical engineer good luck working out how to get the computer to send a negative feed. The work around is to use a feed from the aftermarkets accessory wire (not powered when key off) and wire it to the wire coming from post 87 on the NBS relay. Find a wiring diagram and good luck.

My son was left in my car and right after i came back and turned the radio on nothing came on. Now, the lights blink on and off on the base and treble. I pulled all the fuses and put back and the radio played until i pushed the disk button and then it went blank again. The unit is having a voltage problem somewhere. It could be in the headlights as the dimmer light that shows dim or high beam problems works off the radio also. I will post as soon as i find out how to do this fix and what caused it to begin with as others seem not to know, especially Dodge people.

The radio fuse is in the main fuse panel under the hood on the driver's side. It is a mini 20A fuse and I believe it is labeled RDO/IGN.

I had my 1999 Dodge Caravan detailed and they must have hit the buttons on my radio and now it is in scan mode at all times. Gets very aggravating when your driving down the road and it keeps changing stations every 5 seconds. When I finally get it to stay on one station, as soon as I change direction in the car, it starts to happen again. Will pulling the fuse reset the radio? I looked on line for a replacement but they all seem to slender to take up the amount of room in my dash? Totally lost on this one.
