They are all building a bunch of bloated iron horses. They need to trim the weight on those beasts by 50% and the mileage would double too. The industry continues to exist in the dark ages.

It's just not like the old days when pop came in a bottle. These little aluminum cans don't produce much of a rattle. I have to bring stuff from home to finish off the inside of the doors.

People need to pay closer attention to the language used. They are adding 1200 new jobs, not new hires. All they are doing is bringing back the 1200 jobs they cut in summer of 20120 when they got rid of the 2nd shift at Auto Alliance,(now known as Flat Rock Assembly). The vast majority of those "new jobs" will be filled by existing employees with recall rights, through transfers, and from people returning to work from layoff. Some new people may be hired when it's all said and done, but no where near 1200. Realistically, if new people are hired, you're probably looking at around 300 or so and that's probably optimistic.
