My sister and my step mother both work at Chrysler. I was wondering if Chrysler would hire me with a drug felony? I have been clean for almost 10 years now but was sentenced for my crime in 2007 due to a lengthy court case.

Yes they do. Some that has even done prison time. Some that even went to prison while being employed and got their job and seniority back when they got out.

Just saying that I knew a guy personally that spent 5 years in prison and got his job back with his seniority. Just answering a legitimate question. So yes Chrysler does hire felons and allow them back if they go to prison. No they did not come from a different plant. Now I am understanding why people think your an asshole.

I know they let people back in after they serve thier time, but is it contractual that they HAVE to? Some people are back to work as soon as they're released while others wait years, even when there's openings.

I think that these felons were not felons before they started at Chrysler. However, they became criminals once they got hired. Go and figure some of the Chrysler employees are criminals once they got hired in. Of course Chrysler is keeping them. I do not think they hire felons, before they work at Chrysler.

I think your wrong. LMAO! I know you are wrong and were felons before they got hired at Chrysler and they got felonies after they got hired at Chrysler and some have spent a couple years in prison and still got there jobs back after they did there time in prison with full seniority. MANAGEMENT INCLUDED! I know it for a fact. But hey I also agree with giving people second chances and then some depending on what they did there time for.

It is who you know. Almost all the international reps have convictions. Drinking and driving can be a felony. Ask Chrysler HR how many drunks they harbor.

I do not think they hire felons. unless they have a valuable trade. like plumber, electrician. Line worker I doubt it.
