I also heard something about Chrysler looking at Woodhaven Stamping as well. 800 is not a small plant. Perhaps Chrysler should have bought the Budd stamping plant since it is next to JNAP

They closed twinsburg stamping for a reason. You people really think they will open another plant (in Ohio)and hire 800!!? SSP and Warren will soon go to a AWS. Whoever told you people SSP can't keep up is full of shit. They don't even work 100% Saturdays that much. And hardly ever a Sunday. If keeping up was an issue they would be working 7 days!!

I know what 2 guys your talking about. One of them guys hasn't been to SSP in about 11 years. The other guy is Probably the best quality guy at SSP. he should know! The reason for running out of parts is Mechanical breakdowns..SSP does run very tight. If they kept up on the Maintenance you would not have these problems. But as far as to much work.. I wouldn't go there. It's a Combination of "lots" of work and no Maintenance.

They run the A presses round the clock and they never get PM... as far as not keeping up, if they ever get 5 line worked out and finish 25 line as well a run full production on all 3 shifts I think we could do it just fine.
