You will not have a choice. First plant that calls and your name is up. That's where you go. I do not think we have any employment optios for Akron.
There is a Cleveland Parts Depot, Toledo Machining and the two Jeep assembly plants in the Toledo area.
Twinsburg is now closed.
So if a plant in Illinois calls me first that's where I would have to work??

like i said its a turnover thing at this point for jnap!! no one can predict how long u will wait and anyone who does is full of sh!t!! i have two out of six on my team that might be quitting in a couple weeks so who knows!! i am in paint which is easy as hell but because of how chrysler is hiring part time only people are going else where to get benefits and higher pay!!! people in assy just cant handle the hard ass jobs over there.. and yes they are very hard!!! i dont care how much someone works out it has not alot to do with strength!! if u get in over in assy u will then understand!!

i have always said let these people who sit there and say we are over paid but never worked in an assy plant(not a pdc or engine or trans)come on over for a month say august and then if they make it a month see what they say!!!

I can bet they all, ALL would say we are under paid if they actually did the work in an assembly plant, and in July or August, they just might not make it out alive, lol

look at how many are quitting even in this f**ked up economy!! they thought they hit the gravy train until they got there!! some did they hired in to materials on hilo, paint, body, or final and 9190!! even some of those are quitting because of long unknown hours?? they all keep asking how long we working today or are we working sat?? i keep telling them u will not know until last minute so just plan on 10hrs six days and anything less will be a plus!! but if you plan on 8hr or less and only 5 days your time here will be torture!! they still dont get it!!

I pretty sure the worked is hard but if you have self motivation and the desire not to fail it will be easy. Plus I got kids to take care of thats all the energy I need but for now Im just waiting my turn and after my first week I will let you know how easy it was lol. But much respect for all people who work on the assembly line day to day long hours a dollar well earned people.
