I have seen groups from April, May, June and September of 2010. We're any hired before 2010?

Yeah several of us have worked here for much longer I my self started nov 2009 but several others have been here since 2007 and on they just did not hire us on as seniority employees till nov 2010 and gave us seniority dates that start at jan12th I believe but most of second shift started right at the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010

Ohhh ok. The reason I ask is because of the 25% cap on 2tier. I know in the contract that those 2tier with seniority above the 25% cap will roll over to traditional pay... Wondering if we'll ever see the day

<quoted text>give it time, every contract will get better as long as Chrysler is profitable, so build good quality cars and the rest will take care of itself, just look what happened in 1 contract for 2nd tier, they went from $14 an hour to by 2015 to $19 plus an hour, it took me 25 years to get what I got, watch and learn, educate yourself and your fellow coworkers
I have over 19years in. Was just saying we have 2tiers that has been working since 2000

BAP has Feb 12th 2010 as the first batch of t2. These where the ETE's that where hired in 2006, followed by Feb 13 for there part timers, and Feb 15 for those that where hired in late 2009.

It is unknown to the general membership what the company seniority list of t2 is. I have asked myself for this list, but even my local pres has been unable to get it. Some suggest that's because some international leaders got there friends and family in before they hired any T2 anywhere else. But I cant confirm. When the 2007 contact came around, the 500-600 ETE's left at BAP where giver preferred status for hiring, and where supposed to be the first t2 hired in the company. But without getting the actual seniority list, its impossible to conform that. Also makes it very hard for local leadership to check on the % of T1 to T2. As for the cap, it was my understanding that Sergio wanted an unlimited cap, but the union was able to retain the 25% cap. Will look in the contract and see if I can find if that's true or not.

I am sure that in 2015 Sergio will try to lower the Tier 1 pay. While he is making millions. That will cause a strike in 2015 by the Tier 1's. The Tier 1's will not tolerate their wages being lowered.

The CAW has balls... Way to stand up to your core principle of "equal pay for equal work"... Some things should be non-negotiable!
