What's the word about AWS coming to stamping? The rumor is that warren starts in march and if they can make it work there it will come here to SSP. would this effect all departments? At SSP these presses stamp 24/7 so I find it hard to believe the will shut them down 4 hrs a day.

They will and can force you to stay over one hour if need be, giving them two eleven hour shifts with an hour to service the lines in between if they so desire. It is a micro managers wet dream to run this way. I can't believe our bogus union bought off on this one. Ya gotta know our representatives got their palms greased pretty good to go along with something like this that goes against the very core of what a union is supposed to be all about in the first place. Perhaps that's how Holiefield was able to afford the two plus million dollar wedding in Italy we all keep hearing about. Might be time for an audit! Just how does one on a Chrysler and union salary afford such a thing?

FWIW, back to AWS.... This is just another tool to use in their arsenal to force tier one employees out. If they can trip us up on attendance by forcing us to keep rearranging our schedules.

Mandatory job rotation is aimed at eliminating bidding rights based on seniority for the better jobs.

Of coarse not being enough to ensure we no longer can hold down a single job anymore they are trying to make sure we can no longer hold down a traditional work schedule as well.

If they cant get rid of enough of us that way, the next phase will be to ensure we are no longer able to hold down a shift either.

Funny how the attendance program only applies to tier one employees as far as enforcement goes.

Soon we will all have enough ammo to take the union down for collaboration in discriminatory practices aimed at erroring out employees based on wages. The ACLU will be our salvation in a discrimination suite against both the company and the union, and we will win. We already have documented cases of amnesty and entire records wiped clean on tier two employees that should have been fired under the very same attendance program that we are all supposed to follow.
