I don't care what I am doing. I am just trying to get in. For anyone who has every been in the military they know one person can have the shit job and someone else can have a beautiful air condition as desk job and get paid the same. In time there is room for advancement. So put me in the hole and watch me crule out because only you can keep you down. So no matter how crappy a job is someone else is willing to do it if you are not. So go in with a smile and get er done.

Has anyone been to, or know of anyone that has been to the assessments this week? Just curious of what exactly we'll have to do in more detail than the e-mail provides. Any info would be appreciated.

No problem. It is bad enough Chrysler has us waiting forever and our nerves are out of control. I understand this is a large hiring process but at the end of the day we all just want the same answer are we in. We cant worry about the next person and what they are capitalbe of or not, we know what we are and that is all that matter. Once we are in the key is in our hand. The last thing any of us need is a bunch of negative BS. Because if anyone thinks a job is hard, they need to think how hard is it to take care of a family with out one and you don't have the opition of quiting or getting fire you have to stick it out. So we are going to get in there and do what we have to do since we have made this far and take it with a grain of salt.

Obviously we have to do well during our assessment but after orientation and assessment does that mean we're automatically in? Or are they basing our hiring on how well we do during the assessment?

That was very helpful and informative. Thanks a lot; I'm sure some of us have gotten a little financial revelation. At least we now know what we'll be working with.

This describes it better, I was on my phone.
An introductory session, which will include a short video about the team member production position at Chrysler Toledo Assembly.
A hands-on production simulation that will run for approximately 4 hours and will include scheduled breaks.
An online test which will last approximately 1 hour.
A short 20 minute snack break. We encourage you to bring a small snack with you to the assessment center. There are no lunch facilities (no microwave or fridge) and time is limited.
A short debrief of the day before leaving.
During the hands-on production exercise, you will be wearing safety equipment such as: safety glasses, hard hat, and toe caps. To ensure you are comfortable, we advise you to wear tennis shoes and jeans. No heels, open toe shoes, shorts, halter or tank tops are allowed. For safety reasons we recommend long hair be pulled back.
During the assessment you will need to read questions on a computer screen and mark answers using a computer mouse, lift up to 25 lbs. and walk 5 feet with weights in hands. You will be working for a prolonged period of time while bending and kneeling in a confined space. If you believe you will need a reasonable accommodation to complete this portion of the hiring process, please let us know so that we can discuss arrangements before the assessment date. Please contact us at 866-428-9904 to discuss your request for a reasonable accommodation.
Thank you MZ Lynn. I can only speak for myself, but that has really given me a picture or an idea of what will be going on. For me, it keeps a lot of worrying, angst down. Have to work hard sometime to keep your confidence level up, especially when you're not in the knowing. By the way, I'm pleased to meet you.

Nice to meet you too. That was from my email I received for my assessment. I go on Nov 20 so I will be able to tell people more if its not posted at the time. I'm nervous but its a mental thing so I am just going to pray before I go in there.
