I just called the canidate care line to verify my assesment testing appointment and It was confirmed that I have been scheduled on Nov 27th. I also was informed that I was apart of the 1st cycle and not the 2nd and my testing date was the last date to schedule for the 1st cycle. So you are correct don't know who your source is TNAPWife that they haven't sent the 2nd cycle shedule dates yet. I was also told that I was one of the lucky ones because they extended the date I chose only for a few hours and it was a first come first serve basis. Glad I'm a night owl!...my advise is to check frequently so that you can schedule, that's what I did.

is it possible the info you got was wrong incomplete or changed? It seems the second round has been assigned dates.

For the last week there were people taking the assessment test. 16 per class and 2 classes a day.
The assessment area is at tnap chassis pod. Just follow the big sign that says ASSESSMENT AREA.

I am all the way through the drug test step. Does anyone know what's next - physical? assessment? It would be good to know what really comes next.

Also has everyone that's been going through this process for Toledo been told that people will start in January? Just wondering if they are just getting people lined up for the January start only now or if even though we are going through the process now, some of the people won't start til July?

Hi Waiting...
Yup, all on same day. Don't know details about much else. Know someone assessing very soon. Hopefully I will hear some positive things, and hopefully others that may come on this site will post their experiences too... It will help calm nerves that I'm sure are escalating with some by now. Totally normal and understandable too!!!

So the orientation is also being done at the assessment?? Would this be the last step if you pass the assessment, then just waiting for a start date?

Thanks, your awesome for helping us!:-D

Thanks Bob! Do you know what the actual assesment testing will consist of?

I have all my emaiks going to my phone and thats how i found out last week...they sent mines on Nov 7 and had Mon 19 and 20 opened so I picked the 20th. The email states that it will be 4hrs long...first their will be a introduction video about the job, then 3hrs in the plant on a stimulator, 1hr online test and then debrief. Wear tennis shoes and jeans, bring a snack because no refrigeration or microwaves and short 20 min break.

The 1st round of assesment testing is the weeks of Nov 18 - 27th the 2nd round of assesment testing schedules haven't been released yet, although they have sent emails to canidates to schedule testing. It may be a couple of weeks after the 1st round of assesment testing before they are posted. Check your email frequently is my advise within the next few weeks. I was told they are accepting scheduling on a first come first serve basis to canidates.

This describes it better, I was on my phone.

An introductory session, which will include a short video about the team member production position at Chrysler Toledo Assembly.
A hands-on production simulation that will run for approximately 4 hours and will include scheduled breaks.
An online test which will last approximately 1 hour.
A short 20 minute snack break. We encourage you to bring a small snack with you to the assessment center. There are no lunch facilities (no microwave or fridge) and time is limited.
A short debrief of the day before leaving.

During the hands-on production exercise, you will be wearing safety equipment such as: safety glasses, hard hat, and toe caps. To ensure you are comfortable, we advise you to wear tennis shoes and jeans. No heels, open toe shoes, shorts, halter or tank tops are allowed. For safety reasons we recommend long hair be pulled back.

During the assessment you will need to read questions on a computer screen and mark answers using a computer mouse, lift up to 25 lbs. and walk 5 feet with weights in hands. You will be working for a prolonged period of time while bending and kneeling in a confined space. If you believe you will need a reasonable accommodation to complete this portion of the hiring process, please let us know so that we can discuss arrangements before the assessment date. Please contact us at 866-428-9904 to discuss your request for a reasonable accommodation.

So I guess its safe to say that if you made it to the assessment and your physically capable you have the job. Anybody car pooling from Michigan?

A friend of mine had to cancel/reschedule her assessment yesterday the 13th because her son was sick and another friend is taking it tomorrow the 15th. Not sure your dates are correct Juan419. I've heard the 13th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 26th and 27th are all testing days. At 16 per class and 2 classes a day, this looong process will continue. Guess I will stay up all night and keep trying to log in...yeah right!

Lets just assume all the numbers in my last post are true. 16 people per class x 2 classes each day = 32.....32 x 6 days of testing = 192.....1100 jobs divided by 192 people would take over 5 1/2 months to complete.

Ok 23STEF thanks for the info, I was told I was lucky to be able to schedule it on the 27th which as I was told was the last day for the 1st cycle of assesment testing.

Using your methodology it wouldn't take 5 months...more like 5 1/2 weeks..and if they have groups coming in Jan and Jul they still have plenty of time!
