Anyone that wasn't working at the time of the ratification of the contract last year, will NOT be getting the second half of the signing bonus since they didn't "Sign" anything. Basically, if you hired in within the last year....no signing bonus.

Page 85 of the contract clearly states that as long as your an active employee of the last quarter you're eligible. Even if you didn't vote didn't the first time. Here's the catch either you have your time in or don't, nothing is prorated. Only thing that is prorated is Profit Sharing.

That is what the union is saying but heartless is correct except for the page if you go to Uaw.org highlight members then click Uaw bargaining and look up the Chrysler hourly employee contract go to page 87-88 it states an eligible employee for the second half is anyone with seniority by the last day of the last quarter of the four qualifying quarters so unless there's a clause somewhere it does apear that the newer employees will also get the full second half 1750.00

That part is also referring back to the same employees who were eligible at ratification.. Meaning if they are still meeting that clause.

Sorry my statement still holds true.

Explain to me how your statement still holds true especially when. We're saying two different things. Even if you didn't vote, wasn't present, or wasn't hired in yet. As long as you're on roll/active or have your 90 days in by the last qualifying quarter. You will receive the 1750. What you're pushing is your own opinion of how it should be. I bet you never read the contract, all you do is hear about it like the rest of these puppets out here.
