Looks like the Fenton plant may become a football stadium. Like I have said before under a different name. Looks like the football Rams are going taken over by a 40% owner to the full 100%. The man lives in Valley Park. Read the comments also.....http://www.stltoday.c om/stltoday/sports/columnists. nsf/berniemiklasz/story/7885D0 78C9C26572862577040014B682?Ope nDocument

The plan approved yesterday was updated to include a $15 million “environmental reserve” to cover cleanup costs for hazardous waste at properties that Chrysler may not be able to sell, Ellman told Gonzalez. He said that of 21 properties that remained in bankruptcy, 10 had been sold, and six are in contract to be sold.
SLPN and SLPS one of the 5 not sold yet?

If you read in the comments below the story, there is speculation that if Kronke buys the remaining interest in the Rams, to resolve the stadium problem he is considering Chesterfield Valley and the Chrysler plants as possible relocation sites for a new stadium. This has been in the rumor mill for months.

You are full of it there is not enough room for a stadium & parking At the Chrysler plants site. And the dome just about two or three years ago had work done to make the RAMS happy I should know I was still working at the North Chrysler Plant.

If you knew anything about business or sports you would know that when the RAMS moved to STL, part of the agreement was that the dome had to be in the top 10 or so as being an elete stadium. The dome is in the bottom 10. I believe the RAMS can walk after the 2015 season if they don't have a top 10 stadium. It will be hard for the dome to be modernized considering some of the new football stadiums that have been built. Dallas has a new "one billion dollar" stadium, Phoenix has a new stadium with a retractable grass field. The new stadium list goes on an on in other cities. So if you think the little bit of work they did to the EDWARD JONES dome is enough to keep the RAMS here you are wrong.

As far as me being full of it, you can stuff it you know where. I am from St Louis too--Chrysler South. The only thing I was pointing out to you in your previous comment was regarding the article. You said it had nothing to do with Chrysler Fenton and the part of the article that did was in the comments. There is enough room there with Casons added to it and multi level parking garages. In addition, there is land across the highway that for the right price could be acquired for additional parking such as the Stradford, etc.

That site is a toxic dump sitting on sandy soil on the banks of a river. No one will ever want it for anything but a dump.

U mean that I can sue the pants off of em because I worked in or on a toxic dump? Now I am always sick with some mystery illness that the plant Dr. Malpractice said was arthritis. I live down stream by the water plant and I drink the water that is contaminated from toxic waste. Pardon me while I go take another pill

St.Louis would like to get a MLS team & the city of Collinsville IL has said that they will give land for a stadium. In fenton both plants have got to go, the site has to be cleaned up, & you say buy the Stradford. All that cost money & what if the Stradford doesn't wish to sell??? You also forgot that the
state of MISSOURI paid for the dome they are not going to pay a NEW STADIUM for the RAMS.(or should I say LAMS)It all comes down to MONEY & yopu forgot about the LANDFILL IN VALLEY PARK WHAT A GREAT SMELL NEAR A SPORT STADIUM. You also state about the NEW DOME IN DALLAS, well the COWGIRLS ARE A betterteam then the St.LOUIS LAMS. But that does not take much & *ussy's play in domes real football teams play outside. As far as you coming from the SOUTH PLANT NOW I NOW WHY I UP HERE AT BAP you help close two plants.
