Orlando loses MB business soon so that could be true also cleveland was scheduled to close last contract so that could be true also. Dallas would pick up some of Orlando business and Detroit would pick up Cleveland business . Fontana was already scheduled to close as of 07 contract. Tennessee ? They have a St. Louis PDC that is Teamsters and yield the best numbers so the Tennessee business could go there and Atlanta . Keep in mind that the way the dealers are shrinking I'm sure all of this is on the table. Also the workforce at Mopar make 28$ hr for picking parts there's has been a lot of talk about spinning it off like they did with Huntsville Al. That's has always been a worry of the members at the PDCs for a long time this might be the Chrysler chance. But Mopar is shrinking fast !

Boston is safe because NY isn't big enough to service the whole north east , not after they closed Newark De. PDC.

Marysville is out side off Detroit. And the the main facility is in in Warren all so outside of Detroit. Can you verify which one. The main facility supplies every one else (PDC) Then they ship to dealers

workers at my plant (Atlanta) says we are one of the 6 closing and our work is moving to Orlando to help keep that PDC open and would also allow Memphis to stay open by getting the rest of our work.

Has anyone heard this?

If their are two tier employees there, you can bump one of those but they are the only ones.

i work at a pdc were there are 2 tier employees. We got transfers and all the 2 tier have senority over them. They say that we will not take transfers because we have no openings and that we cant except tranfers if it can cause layoffs....this is Orlando that im talking about.
Also, we were told by people in Dtroit that if they close a PDC it would be Atlanta cause we have brand new building and we ship a lot to latin and south america.
