Rumor here has it not all of you from TSP are comming here to SSP as promised from I-UAW, they finally got balls and are taking care of the home plant workers which is only right being our plant and our work when it enters our plant.
You do still have time to accept a buyout by Nov.13.

I know that Richie Bourf tried to protect the home plants here with the STL situation. He was shot down by international and went out flaiming. I wouldn't hold my breath that the same thing doesn't happen to your local as well.

You must be reading bathroom stall walls to get these rumors. 1st 40 were "tapped" last week to show end of Nov. So far only production and diemakers. No assembly work has left yet so no WR. Production are bringing some pretty heavy seniority as they are first to go.

Not all are coming because a decent number are taking the buyouts and retirements. Most will be there by the end of January, so expect to see some new faces when you come back from the holidays. Our work is already there with more still in transport, and all are coming with their seniority. They will be full-fledged members of the Local there. Just as many came to TSP from other plants with their seniority, the same will happen at SSP. If the International and Chrysler leadership is correct, there will be work for all of us. The only issue will be if there is a layoff.

Lol..isn't that the truth. The St. Louis people that came to SHAP have about 95 seniority. It's good seniority, but most definately NOT the highest. Not to mention so few came, they really don't impact anything. As a side note, the new Viper people are really fun to watch. They came from a 48 min cycle to a 48 SECOND cycle.
