Nothing like making people work on what is probably the most important Election Day ever. Hope everyone makes it out to the polls and votes for the right candidate (Obama) either before or after they get off work that day. The company is throwing around all this money: double time plus holiday pay, on this day probably hoping that not everyone makes it to the polls. It's a wonder all these companies banned our President the one who saved our jobs from coming to our plants until after election and now we have to work on Election Day??? I wonder what their true intentions are.
Yes, the most important election day ever. A vote for Obama is a vote for bigger government, more crippling, massive debt, more jobs lossed, more freedoms lost, higher taxes (yes, even the middle class will suffer higher taxes, as Obama lied about this one), Obama Care being permanently implemented, Military being gutted etc... This is the short list.

I know you union people think that Obama saved your job and that you owe him your allegiance. However, Chrysler and GM still went through bankruptcy and restructuring and this could of still been done without the federal government. Does anyone here care that another term with Obama could add another 4-6 trillion to our national debt? This is unsustainable. In essence, you are voting because you have a job and you mistakenly give Obama credit for it, but at the same time, you are voting for the end of America as we know it. Most of you will not have a job in four years if Obama is re-elected and if you do, most of your nonunion friends and family wont. Wake up out of the union spell that most of you are under. Obama is selling this country out: he lied about the Benghazi attack, told Putin that he would have more flexibility after the election and his apology tour is never ending. Obama does not deserve to be an American. When you got to the ballot box, use your common sense.

Maybe you should wonder what Obama's true intentions are! He is a Marxist at heart and you can bet that the mask he is wearing will completely come off in a second term, because he doesn't have to be accountable and worry about re-election. Oh, I know you are so thankful that you have a job and you give Obama complete credit for it, but quit thinking about yourself for once and look at the bigger picture.

Ok. So you are saying Sergio Marchionne, who is the CEO of 3 companies, will focus energy on getting rid of seniority? Sure he will. The financial situation in Europe and Chryslers return from bankruptcy and the poor economy here and the slew of new product launches that will be happening the next few years and he will try to change seniority? You do realize how unimportant that is in the grand scheme of things? It won't even be on the table.

I was referring to the employees that took the buyout and/or retired to go over to the supplier run Toledo Jeep paint shop which, until about a year or so ago, was run by an outfit commonly known as Magna. Other than that, I really don't understand your post/question.

Of course, seeing that you put Magna in quotes, you must be sarcastically saying that they really never owned it in the first place and they are no longer running it.

It is funny to me that Obama keeps saying he saved GM and chrysler when he only saved GM he forced Chrysler to take Fiats offer so now we are not an American car company Fiat has controlling interest. No different than Honda or Toyota.

While I agree with the above posts, the one thing he did do RIGHT was that Fiat cannot use our profits FOR Fiat and has to keep the money here in the U.S.!
