Tier 1 should pay union dues for tier 2 because they make more money. It's hard to live on half the pay of tier 1 when you have a family to support. The cost of everything keeps going up! I can't hardly find money to put gas in my car. I think it is only fair to have tier 1 support the union, that would help to equalize the pay difference slightly.
Hey you wanted the job at Chrysler you new what you would be makeing.I,ve still makeing the same pay from 2007 so get over it.

You sound like the typical democrat that feels like they should have want someone else has. Let me ask you something, if your neighbor has a bigger lot than you should he share the extra land with you? So typical.

I just think that in these hard times with the economy the way that it is people would be more giving to their family. We are all brothers and sisters. So soon after 2 tier system being created God gave us Right To Work for a reason. You should not question God. I think this is Gods will. It is all to suspicious to be anything else.
What are you blathering about? Divine intervention in MI politics? You need help. Seriously. Now go!

I'm also a tier 2 but with posts like this I see why the tier 1 employees say we whine too much. It's 2 hours of your pay a month, we're not talking hundreds of dollars a month. We made 14.65 a hour when we first started and the tier 1's made less than that when they started. These newer tier 2's are coming in making almost 16 a hour and still complaining. It takes time to get places in life, if you don't want to wait maybe you should find a better job.

Tier 1 got hired making less for a short time then quickly surpassed tier 2 pay. Tier 1 will never get to tier 1 pay.
you have to understand its a different time now. If we keep up what we are doing the next contract should be better as far as money is concerned.

I don't know who you were talking to it took an average of 3-5 years to make max and then never to get a raise, I hired in at alittle over $13 an hour. I know plenty of people that would love to have your job right not. RTW is not the right attitude to have. I hope it is ammended to read if you don't pay you don't get representation, then you are on your own....good luck.

I have just one question for you… when was the last time you had to throw an HVAC unit in with one hand or better yet, how did it feel when you had to use the K40 air gun that weighed 10lbs to tie down the IP you had to hand load? And those were the good jobs… oh yes, by all means, go to medical… you were out the door by the end of the week. So as far as carrying the burden…. They did that when they only had one fan per line (not job) and when they went home bleeding and getting up and going in the next morning to do it all again. What have you given lately?

That's funny Jason cause your full of ##it!! What you think nobody knows people that have retired from Chrysler or have worked there for years and have told the truth about what goes on inside the plant? Your a joke! Don't flatter yourself! Let me guess people got all wasted in the plants puking and passing out to deal with the pain of working so hard. Lol!
What are you trying to say, working on the line is easy? really, sounds like you don't really work at Chrysler, you wouldn't say that if you did

This person makes me a shamed to be a 2tier. Our max Is 19 under wage progression. After 2015 I see our max at 25 or I see a big move by Sergio to jump us to traditional pay to get us out the union. The union has become soft over time. It's very few union chairs that still do their job an take care of us but the ones at international and in the plants seem like their laying in bed with corporate and they only take union dues every 3 weeks so shut the hell up crying!!!
