We ended up with Jerry Gilliland in Kokomo. And he has already trying to implement stupid shit!! He wants to implement a no shorts policy. He says to many injuries from peoplw wearing shorts!! I say bring back the janitors and have them concentrate on cleaning up all the puddles of oil on the floors. That would cut injuries in half. They spend to much time in the office thinking of stupid stuff instead of trying to save Chrysler!! The dumber u r the more u get promoted!!

I'll agree Jason Ryska will be sadly missed at TSP. I worked with him and know that most everyone respected him because he really knows his shit. Thank God he got rid or worthless Robin and Jerry Gilliland. They were a disease at TSP. Everyone really believed we would have a fighting chance of surviving with Jason. He even brought a good guy from Warren Stamping to replace Robin. Now if he goes I know we are screwed up. I just wish they would can Paris and Zeiler. Rumar has it Mgmt is doing study on moving TSP work to Sterling.

Hey Yankee, Danny Hall passed away about 8 yrs ago. They found him sitting on the crapper in the lower level pressroom bathroom. He went out on his own terms. As for Jason, he was by far the best plant manager we had ever had. He cared about the plant and the people there. He had just bought a big house and planned to be there for a while. The bad part is, he is Warren Millers golden boy and Sterling is closer to the mothership. I understand that Sterling has been running without a plant manager for a couple months. I hope we dont get another lame duck in his place. Good Luck to all Chrysler Employee's

I remember now it was K-Car work, we ran it for about a year and then it went out of production. Sorry I can't help you, anyway I'm retired, but go back on contract now and then. All we run down here is BMW, Mercedes, and Toyota parts. Back in 2001, our plant manager told Ford and Chrysler to take a hike. He told them he had enough of 2% price cuts every year so that the UAW could get their raises. Looking back it was a good move.

Too bad about Danny. I used to trade reading material with him when he was on hourly. Was John Bernilovich before your time? He was Tool & Die superindentent best remembered for falling down a scrap chute. He also got his fingertips cut off. He was resting his hand on a trim steel while telling someone else to inch the press down.

Ask some of the old-timers about John. Come to think of it, are anyone but old-timers left there?
BTW, is the machine shop still there? Have they junked the shapers? Do they still build new dies or are the bays just for repair?

My guess is look into the sky and look for the flying woman attached to the broom. LOL, either that or you could try under Crews' desk.

Guys if you are getting Tyree Minner??? Goodbye,,,
he is known as the "Closer" like a BBall pitcher does. His mission in life was to make sure SLPS went down in flames, so they couldn't blame it on management but the union...when Team concept was implemented about 2 yrs ago,,,he expected the teams to run themselves without tooling and repair tools for the team-leader. What a joke and good-luck. Really if it were'nt for the Unions 110 and 597 grabbin the bull by the horns and taking over. He could of said mission accomplished, He was unable to do that, and became the fool...BEWARE

True. The managers of Sterling Stamping (SSP) & SHAP both bailed in October--they must have seen something coming. ALOT of management left SSP in the last round of buyouts--mostly just the competent ones.

The Robin that they got rid of. Could it have been Robin Ward?? If so, "thank you baby Jesus", there really is a God out there. She screwed me out of a good job about the same time she screwed Andy Momont out of his.
