It seems really shady for the people that applied for both Toledo and Detroit because once Chrysler received a certain amount the site was closed for applications now if you were able to get two job offerings only can take one that means someone else is left out that really needed a job!!!

@smh I have heard that over 100 people did the same thing. Shame on those people. Greed to get ahead.

No one will be left out, it will be offered to the next person if someone passes on a position. They said there could have been close to 20000 apps taken for Toledo. Its the same as if someone walks off the job, Chrysler has a pool of applicants to choose from. Its a random process, everyone has the same opportunity.

Lol, they took more than 1600 apps. Your thinking about how many will be hired.

The postings went up days apart and you should be fine because if you are hired in detroit it makes room for the next person in toledo or opposite.

I applied Nov 8 and got an email saying they wanted to do a phone interview a couple weeks later. Today I got an email offering me a job and asked me for an Onboard Form. I filled that out, does anyone know the next steps and amount of wait time?

Thanks
Chris

I see, just wondering. At lot of the post i see now seem to be more geared towards the toledo position as it looks like a longer process

I have no personal experience with the toledo process, I was just judging by what i've been reading in the forums. The detroit process was fairly fast to me, applied Aug.8 and around early Oct. i had seen my "congrats on new position" posted, but i also had to take into account other peoples situation, some have kids and families, so i can see where that "long" feeling would come in. Some who applied for toledo are still waiting for assessment, while others who applied after them have either taken or at least scheduled it. I don't know exactly how they select people but to me it looks fairly random
