At our last contract ratification we were told we would get retroactive back pay. We only got part of it & the UAW did nothing.
Will you trust them this time?

But without a Union, you get nothing, Unions aren,t perfect, but you will get alot more with one.

I did not say get rid of the union. I just say that their word means nothing to me. We don't need words we need integrity!

The back pay was for wages back to the beginning of negotiations of our current contract. I do not have that date at this time but thank you for your concern.

How was it phrased in the contract, was it in writing, if it,s not in the contract, you wont get your backpay. Don,t think a verbal commitment is good enought, it has to be in writing. Because the rarely give you something for nothing.

That was years back wasn't it. Unfortunately, it was probably lost in between presidents. Look up the information and take it to the hall. It is worth a shot at the very least find out wht happened. It would be a good bargaining tool for them when your next contract comes up. Which I think is soon. The more information theyhave the more they can work with. Good luck and have faith. Your shopchair should be prepring all of you and asking for changes you would like to see.

So your ponydied did you ask for a raise? Just wondering how much and how we might stand on asking for more money and some personal hours that we never had. Unit 1 I agree is going to be are main supporters in this contract. The stronger all the units are the better we will all be in contract times. By the way we a receiving 2012 pilots for all 3 cars so looks like no new car till mid 2012.

All contract talks ask for raises and the company ask for cutbacks. We maintained our current wages and we prevented the company from outsourcing our jobs

Many Syncreon employees feel that they have been sh*t on by both the company and the union. I doubt any new contract will change that.

I am wondering if syncreon the company itself will even get a ne contract with Chrysler. Inventory is a main concern are scanners tht book out inventory are from the 80's !!!!

those are Chrysler scanners not syncreons, if unit 1 was smart they would lobby Chrysler in investing in new handheld computers for this syncreon location. Inventory would be a lot better.

That would mean Chrysler (BAP) would have to spend money & we at Chrysler (BAP) all know to well that plant Managar Kurt Kavajecz well not spend money on anything. And when the poop hits the fan he says that it is the workers who f**ked up not his office

Kurt should be fired ! Also he should stop forcing people to do his dirty work. Inventory is so far off because the syncreon system does not communicate with the blr system when you book out its gone even though it is still on the line to sequence. In a real time environment you would scan the product to the sequencing location and until it is scanned there from storage the sequencer cannot pick this would keep real time inventory. Knowing Wht was available at all times . Need to know why you cannot talk to an engineer without being downgraded every time. Sometimes I think the hillbilly syncreon employees are smarter than the office. Bap just take over this facility and fire management. I will be glad to show you how to run good inventory without mpnl calling you with part shortages daily. End rant lol
