You would guess
Boston Cleveland Minneapolis Atlanta Portland? ??? |

I haven't seen it personally but it is a 100% certainity that Mopar had logistics specialists come in and work up a plan for consolidation. There is a plan on the table that reduces the field depots from 16 to 10. Don't know which 6 are in trouble or the time frame. If you work for Mopar you must have noticed your lines taking a hit with all of the dealer closings.
Management incompetence :-) I never saw a place where they vauled the employees less and never listened to a thing you had to say about how to do your own job. Truly awful. |

Newark PDC is likely headed for consolidation, We were told 2 weeks ago that the property that the assembly plant and the pdc sits on is on the market to be sold.Rumor on the floor is that Atlanta and Newark may be consolidated.Southern Virginia or North Carolina location possible. Changes are on the way for sure!!! Good luck to all.

I just took the buyout from Detroit PDC, but before I left there was a rumor that the Centerline National was closing. I would not be suprised to see Detroit close, with the way management and union run that building.

A few folks from stl north transfered to Orlando, and they said after they signed up for the transfer, they got a paper to sign saying they understood the orlando pdc was to reduce workforce by 2010.

Tired of Mopar, I also work at detroit pdc, and i agree it's ran shady but in our market we can take work from those other pdc's, I be interested to see who you are.

dcx96, we heard for a long time we were getting most of Cleveland's work and that came right from Uncle Larry's mounth. So it is hard to know what to believe because management and the union are both clueless.

well now somehow cleveland was saved and now we just completed a warehouse change that moved binns from front to back. for what? ya that plant is messed up.If union and mngt worked on making that building better like they do picking on little shit and making DUMB ass decisions we'd be no.1 uncle larry has no clue.

dcx96, I wish you the best, I hope the plant stays open for a long time. There are many people who work there that I consider my friends. But I can say I feel relieved that I no longer count on that place to support my family and that I have already received and cashed by buyout check. For a long time I dealt with the politics of Detroit PDC and I am glad that I no longer have to listen to the lies of Rosetta, Krauth and Larry.

i knew that it was a bad deal when i recieved the offer for any mopar parts depo.
there were a few who took it from plant one to atlanta another to chicago and la. who ever took that deal and 30,000 to give up your seniority good luck i think that was a scam to get rid of people cheaper than 100,000 buyout or sit in the bank!if you took the 4600.00 and retain your rights to return home you may have a chance if there work there atleast, otherwise these people who took the 30 thou may be put out for a very very long time after there move i hope im wrong. |

Thanks tired of Mopar, Yes I also hope this plant stays open for a long while too. I believe that the UAW in this plant and mngt cover each others ass, I say that because Connie was, and accepted the Payroll job of Deb turner and that was NEVER posted, voted on, and no other higher senority person was asked, hmmm talk bout politics eh. Ya Useless George is the back up, man talk bout someone who has no fu*k*ng clue how to represent you. Krauth is and always will be Larry;s boy, I know they fish together also. Good luck... I'm with the rat too, he's right that was a scam to get rid of folks cheaper sounded funny from get go.

I contacted orlando pres before signing, he said this is because they will no longer contract with daimler after 2010 in orlando. |

I wish everyone the best at Detroit PDC, but In all my years at Chrysler have I never had more inept management... It's a Joke.

hey dcx96, I have a feeling I know who you are. I cannot believe that they gave that job to Connie. She is a nice lady but come on that is a shame. That is another one of Rosetta's hookups. I wonder who's grevience she sold out to get Connie that job. This is just another situation to reinforce my decision to take the buyout.
