TPT WTAP Work Schedule

I have been a TPT at WTAP for 10 years, and in March our plant will be going to the 3-2-120 work schedule. As of now I have regular days that I have to show up if scheduled but no-one can tell me how that will change with the new plant schedule. Can anyone tell me how the TPT's are worked in the plants that have already converted to 3-2-120?

Have you been offered full time? You will most likely be on 2nd shift. 4:30 - 3:00.

yes i was offered but will not as i will lose my tier-1 salary. See my post on the "jnap tpt work schedule" thread. I talked to H.R. and the Union and apparently not all 3-2-120 plants schedule their TPT's the same way.

What department are you in?
Is the paint dept good there?

Are there any skilled trades apprenticeship programs available?

Bcrew_wantsC: To answer your questions: I am in the material dept, paint is good except being in the spray booth and as far as I know no apprenticeships...might still be able to sign up on to the list but they have cut back on skilled trades over the years.
Dart: Hard to believe that a plant could survive without TPT's, also the majority of people at my plant are looking forward to the 10 hr shifts, wonder if their opinion will change when summer comes along.
