It is nearly impossible to get rid of a union once they get in a plant. To decertify, you only have 30 days to get enough people brave enough to sign it. The union WILL ACTIVELY RESIST! They will harass you, send death threats, flatten tired, physical intimedation, etc. not to mention bring all that towards your wife, husband, and worse your CHILD! Look it up. Unions cost a plant about60% more to operate because of all the red tape they create. If it were so easy to get rid of why is century aluminum out of business. Why did stamping plant go under?

You can vote it out ,if you don't like it is like saying I'll get married and it don't work I'll get a divorce. Harder to to when u start dividing everything up.

There is a toyota engine plant here in huntsville if the uaw wants to unionize a plant start here.We will give you the same welcome that are line men were given in NJ.These guys are highly trained in natural disaster recovery and have travaled all over helping to restore power. When these union punks throw eggs at them and yell scab go home while the victims of the storm sit in a dark cold house crying for help.there is something fundamentally wrong with this thought process. we will leave the welcome sign on.

the unions have sold out the workers for years. The only ones that really benefit from a union are the union officials and big business.

You liberals would screw your own mother if would advance your cause. Well it will not be long before Governer Snyder turns Michigan into a Right to Work State. Then you will see mass exodus of tier 2 members leaveing the UAW to colapse under its own weight and becomeing a 3rd rate insurance company working for Obama Care.

I agree with your first point for sure. Rick Snyder is a joke though. A Republican in name only. I would not put much trust in him. Giving the people of a choice into joining a union would be much better for the people. It would also make the union fight for the worker or lose his job and possibly the Union as a whole. Now the Union is locked in so they do not need to do very much at all on the local level. They just sit on their fatassess.

your right, its better to be a union worker in a Right to Work State because the Unions have to work harder in the interest of the employee or face loosing revenue in dues for poor representation which I have seen since I have worked in both Right to work and Non Right to work states.
