I am trying to figure out why a 2000 Chrysler Sebring coupe keeps draining batteries even after putting a brand new one in. I had the alternator, battery tested and proven to be good. I measured the base current draw with nothing on and is 9 mA does anyone know what the current draw should be while sitting idle not running just in storage? Is there any recalls for this issue that anyone knows of?

I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring and it has been stalling out if I don't have my foot on the gas.
We put a new battery in it after it died on me in the middle of a busy street (when the suto store said my battery was dead.)

Now it's back to stalling when it's started. The chrysler dealer said that it is the IAC (or IYAC?)
motor (For Idle after the car gets warm!). Does anyone know where that is?

I am trying to help a coworker with her 2002 Chrystler Sebring convertable. She needs to change out a battery. Is it located in the wheel well behing the tire on the drives front side? that is my best guess.
