Front suspension noise 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

I have noise in the right front area of my Pac. It is intermittent & happens going over a street with a washboard effect and over railroad crossings.

I have had the car @ Brookfield Chrysler & Mancari Chrysler 10 times but I still have the noise. Brookfield replaced the struts @ 4100 miles but that did not help. Anyone with similar problems?

I just bought a 2006 Pacifica. Less than 1200 miles already in the shop once for noise. Now has been there for over a week and still no word. I have contacted everyone I could think of and, no one seems to want to settle this matter. I told them to give me another car they said all pacificas have the same noise. Bought at Metro Chrysler in Columbia Illinois
Very unhappy

I had the same problem (at 19,000 miles) and just got the car out of the service department yesterday. Below are the parts that they replaced:
02100505 Arm, Front Lower Control (B)
4156 W
4743476AI Arm
4743477AI Arm
4809863AB Gasket-Front Halfshaft/HU

So far, it seems the problem is fixed. Know idea if it is a permanent fix or if it will be back in the shop after another 19,000 miles.

I suspect that the noise comes from the plastic covers that are fixed around the wheels, with plastic screws. These screws are often brake and leave the plastic piece of plastic "druming' over the bubmy streets.

I love my 06 Pacifica AWD! It has served me well for 2 yrs. and 36K.(regular maintenance and everything else they say I need)The motor in the drivers seat also(re:distraught)had to be replaced. No big deal to me.Just fix it I say. Now, however, I hope this clacking noise isn't going to burst my bubble. The service dept. says its a "normal" sound from the lifters.( I must not be normal cuz I've not heard it before)So I said I will bring it in anyway. I was looking for others who may have had this sound. hoping for positive returns. thanks
Emmanuel Greece is right. it is the sound of the wheel liners. probably something we'll deal with time and again. My solution for many problems is to turn up the radio.

I have knocking in my engine, and a machanic told me that it was my lifters. How do I get this fixed and what would be the coat?

Our 2004 Pacifica had the same problem and it took a while for them to find it. The Chrysler dealer here is very good and found a broken engine mount! They replaced it and the clunk noise went away. Apparently this seems to be a common problem with these cars.

Have a rattle noise front going over rr tracks bumps etc. Applying light pressure on brakes eliminates noise. Dealer said not their issue since another put in new brakes and did not note it in their reports. Both dealers are gone.

Had the same trouble with my 2006 Pacifica ( among many others).
There is a oil feed tube to the lifter area on top of the cylinder head that has fallen off. It needs to be replaced and the lifters affected replaced.

So took my Paciffica with 180,000km to dealer because of clunk in front end both sides and only happens when go over any change in pavement or a pothole. Very worrisome. Have replaced struts and sway bar but still have the clunk. Annoying..since none of this was cheap. I am worried by the noise as it shouldn't be doing this.
Please help.
